After an incredible 28 years serving Hertford with great customer service, advice, products and services, it is time for owner Julie to retire from a successful almost 3 decades! Pop in for some last bargains & to bid her farewell before 17th Jan.

🏥 Historic Fore Street Pharmacy Set To Move

Sheffield Pharmacy, a long-standing Fore Street fixture for over 200 years, is relocating to larger premises in Maidenhead Street.

The pharmacy will reopen under the Jade Pharmacy name, joining two other Jade outlets already in the town. The new location is the former Well Pharmacy site, which closed last year and has recently been refurbished.

Jade Pharmacy is an independent, family-owned group with around 20 branches across Hertfordshire and London.

There are eight bank holidays in England and Wales in 2026:

• New Year’s Day: Thursday 1 January

• Good Friday: Friday 3 April

• Easter Monday: Monday 6 April

• Early May bank holiday: Monday 4 May

• Spring bank holiday: Monday 25 May

• Summer bank holiday: Monday 31 August

• Christmas Day: Friday 25 December

• Boxing Day: Monday 28 December (substitute day)

If you follow this guide, you can get up to 58 days off in 2026 by using your annual leave.
