• Hertford North rail service could become part of TfL - There are proposals for Hertford North services to join Transport for London’s network, which would likely affect fares, staffing & service patterns.

• Judicial review for Bengeo homes plan to get further hearing - The legal challenge over the proposed Bengeo housing development will proceed to another hearing, keeping the planning debate alive.

• Millmead School joins Simon Balle academy trust - Millmead Primary School in Port Vale has joined Simon Balle School as part of the Laurel Education Trust.

• Owner of recording studio meets Chancellor - A local business owner of Apollo Audio met with constituency MP Josh Dean and Chancellor Rachel Reeves at a reception for small and medium sized businesses in the East and Southeast of England.

• Police and Crime Commissioners to be abolished - The government have announced that they will abolish Police and Crime Commissioners at the end of the current electoral cycle in 2028.
