🧩 Bengeo Gets A Colourful New Landmark
A colourful new community mosaic has appeared in Bengeo Street and it’s packed with local landmarks, from St Leonard’s Church and the Bengeo water tower to The Greyhound, White Lion and The Little Theatre.

Created by local residents alongside artist Claire Costello and the Love Bengeo Community Group, the project is a lovely reminder of what happens when a community gets creative together.

🌼 Hertford in Bloom 2026 Is Launching
Hertford is officially getting its gardening glow-up this summer with the launch of Hertford in Bloom 2026.

The town-wide competition is open to residents, schools, businesses and community groups across SG13 & SG14 - whether you’ve got a sprawling garden, a balcony or just an ambitious window box. There’s even a tallest sunflower category for the kids 🌻

After a slightly soggy day today, things are looking very good indeed. Temp’s climb steadily through the week before peaking across the Bank Holiday weekend with highs of 26-28°C. Fri-Mon is shaping up beautifully, with sunshine, warm evenings and proper “cancel your indoor plans” weather. Monday is the standout 🙌🏼
