If you only take one thing from this week's Scoop, let it be this: Hertfordshire Health Walks just launched their Autumn timetable, and it's completely free. Since January, local volunteers have led 376 walks and welcomed 4,474 attendances across East Herts - and more than half of the people who joined were managing a long-term health condition. No pace pressure, no kit required, just good company and fresh air.

Pair it with Saturday's Panshanger parkrun or Sunday's junior run at Hartham Common, and you've got a lovely long-weekend movement plan that costs nothing.
