  • Hertford Remembrance Parade

    Organised by Hertford Town Council in partnership with the Hertford branch of the Royal British Legion - the Parade will commence from St Andrew Street Car Park with participation from Servicemen and local uniformed organisations.

    Members of the public are welcome to gather at the War Memorial from 10:30am onwards & to follow the Procession to All Saints for the Church Service at 11.30am.

🐄 Live Music & A Fresh Menu At The Cow & Stout Pub

The Cow & Stout pub at Hertford House is taking a short break this week for a quick refresh ahead of its new menu launch. The restaurant will be closed from 27-30 October and will reopen for breakfast on Friday 31st, just in time for the weekend. Regulars can look forward to live music every Saturday, a feature that’s fast becoming part of the venue’s charm. The updated menu is expected to bring a fresh twist to the popular local spot - perfect for a relaxed meal or evening out in town.

🚌 Hertfordshire awarded £360,000 to boost rural bus services

Hertfordshire County Council has been granted £360k from the Department for Transport (DfT) as part of a nationwide initiative to improve rural bus networks. The county is one of just five areas selected for this funding, which will support a comprehensive review of current bus operations and the development of new models aimed at strengthening public transport across Hertfordshire.
