1. Seaside Vibes in St Albans

2. Ottolenghi Debuts 3 Sensational Ice Creams In Waitrose

👅 Available from today, Ottolenghi has unveiled a luxurious new range of ice creams - all made with rich West Country cream and features a gourmet twist on the classics. Think Miso-Salted Caramel Vanilla, Pistachio with Sour-Cherry Ripple and Spiced Coffee and Cardamom (yes please!). At £6 a tub, you can expect a creamy, bold delight full of surprises

3. Fringe Fever: Loads of Shows, 1 Unmissable Month

🏰 The world’s biggest arts festival is in full swing! From stand-up comedy and theatre to cabaret and the downright bizarre, Edinburgh’s Fringe Festival transforms the city into a creative free-for-all. With thousands of shows in unexpected places, it’s the perfect spot to discover rising stars - or just get wonderfully lost in something weird. 2-26 August.

🏦 Hertford's Last Bank Shuts It’s Doors

Hertford’s final remaining bank, Santander, has now closed, leaving Nationwide Building Society on Fore Street as the only option for face-to-face banking in town. Some banking services can be accessed at The Post Office, including paying in cash and cheques.

🚫 Beam Closed Every Monday In August

These are only temporary closures for essential maintenance, helping to keep everything running smoothly and ensuring the best experience for all visitors (i.e us! 😊).
